Description
The Canadian Gold MapleGram is an impressive package that includes 25 individual 1 Gram Canadian Gold Maple Leaf Coins. The series of gold bullion MapleGrams was released in recent years as an affordable, divisible option for those investing in gold from the Royal Canadian Mint. The MapleGram shares the same design elements as its larger cousins in the Canadian Gold Maple Leaf Series.
On the obverse side of each coin is Either King Charles or the bust of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is shown here in right-profile relief in a design that was created in 2003 by Susanna Blunt. Ms. Blunt is just the second Canadian artist to ever create a monarch portrait for Canadian currency, and her design is the first of a monarch without a crown since the reign of King George VI, the father of Queen Elizabeth II.
The reverse field of the individual coins includes the stunning sugar maple leaf design. First created in 1979 by Walter Ott, the design captures the national emblem with a background field of micro laser-engraved radial lines that offer security for your bullion investment.
These 25 Gram Canadian Gold MapleGrams are housed inside of a large, divisible blisterpack. The blisterpack itself ships in a shipping sleeve from the Royal Canadian Mint. The blisterpack houses 25 individual 1 Gram Canadian Gold Maple Leaf coins. The coins are each housed individually in the pack and can be separated out from the larger pack without unsealing any individual coin. An assay is included for the coins of the MapleGram. Each of the individual specimens is available to you in Brilliant Uncirculated condition.
The Royal Canadian Mint struck these coins. Founded in 1908, it is the official sovereign mint of Canada and produces national currency at the Winnipeg Mint, with bullion and numismatic coins struck at the Ottawa Mint.
