Description
Obverse
Queen Elizabeth II features on the obverse of the 2021 British Queens Beast White Greyhound Gold Coin. Her Majesty is depicted here in right-profile relief with the George IV State Diadem Crown on her head. The design was created by Jody Clark for the Royal Mint of England in 2015 and captures the Queen at the age of 89. Inscriptions on this face of the coin include 25 Pounds, Elizabeth II, and D.G. Reg. F.D. This face of the coin also has a beautiful guilloche background element as an anti-counterfeiting feature.
Reverse
The White Greyhound of Richmond is found on the reverse design element of 2021 British Queens Beast White Greyhound 1/4 oz Gold Coins. The White Greyhound is featured leaning back on its hind legs as its front paws rest over the top of the shield of the Tudor Dynasty. The shield is split down the center with a crowned rose at the center. Inscriptions read White Greyhound of Richmond and 1/4oz Fine Gold 999.9 2021.
