All of the 1 oz Rand Refinery Gold Bars available to you in this product listing come with a sealed assay card pack. The secure pack protects the 1 oz gold bar with a capsule at its center and features a red assay card around the bar. This card includes markings of the brand logo, name, and trademarked Rand Secure notice. Also featured on the card are the weight, purity, metal content, and the serial number of the bar. Each bar is in brand-new condition inside of the sealed pack.
The obverse face of the 1 oz Rand Refinery Gold Bar features the mint logo at the top, followed by the name of the refinery. The bars metal content is noted twice in the inscriptions on this face of the bar. Once with the words Fine Gold and once with the Au shorthand from the periodic table of elements. The weight and purity are also featured on this side of the gold bar, along with a unique serial number from the Rand Refinery.
On the reverse side of 1 oz Rand Refinery Gold Bars is a depiction of the largest resident of the African continent: the bush elephant. A small herd of bush elephants is depicted in a marching row on the reverse and it repeats down the face of the bar. Each row shows the animals marching in the opposite direction from the previous row, alternating in left-to-right and right-to-left poses.
