Description
In 2017, Geiger Edelmetalle proudly unveiled its innovative lineup of square silver and gold bars, setting a new standard for security measures designed to thwart counterfeiting. Foremost among these safeguards is the impenetrable security capsule, which can only be opened through its destruction, rendering any attempt at resale of tampered bars virtually impossible while preserving the integrity of the capsule.
Each 30 x 1 gram Geiger Square Silver Bar is fortified with both visible and non-visible security features. The surface of these bars boasts a lustrous pearl finish, akin to a radiant gem, coupled with a ribbed edge reminiscent of the distinctive texture found on bullion coins. Furthermore, the high-relief design features are meticulously crafted, creating a stunning contrast with the structured reverse field. Each individual bar proudly bears a unique serial number and is coated with a UV-sensitive layer, revealing an imperceptible security feature only discernible under the illumination of a black light.
The obverse of the 30 x 1 gram Geiger Square Silver Bar bears a meticulously stamped engraving of the iconic Schloss Guldengossa. Serving as the inaugural registered office of Geiger Edelmetalle, this historical castle, constructed in 1720, holds a special place in the company’s heritage. The obverse also showcases engravings denoting the refinery’s name, weight, metal content, and purity, all contributing to the prestige of these bars.
On the reverse side of the Geiger Square Silver Bar, an intricately designed pattern emerges, arranging the renowned LEV rhombus of the mint into horizontal rows. At the center of this captivating design lies the UV-coated feature that reveals an additional hidden LEV rhombus when exposed to a black light. The serial number is also skillfully engraved on this side of the bars, adding another layer of authenticity and security to these exceptional pieces.
